Avril Swan, MD

Dr. Swan has been practicing medicine in California since 2000 and is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. She graduated from Mayo Medical School and completed her residency at the University of California, San Francisco.

Dr. Swan specializes in integrating traditional western medicine with alternative modalities. In addition to her traditional medical training, she has completed education in nutrition, primary care homeopathy, and physician acupuncture. Dr. Swan provides primary and consultative care for women, men and children of all ages.

ALEX Zaphiris, MD MS

Dr. Zaphiris specializes in integrative medicine which brings together traditional western medicine with the best of alternative approaches.  In addition to her western medical training, Dr. Zaphiris draws on expertise in functional medicine, classical homeopathy, and osteopathic manual medicine.

Dr. Zaphiris has been in practice 10 years and is board certified in Family Medicine and Addiction Medicine. She graduated from the UCSF-UC Berkeley Joint Medical Program and completed a 2 year fellowship in Integrative Medicine under Dr. Andrew Weil. 

Dr. Zaphiris sees women, men and children for primary care and integrative medical consultations.  Areas of interest:  autoimmune disease, back/neck pain, prescription pain medication addiction.  As well as, integrative treatments for depression, anxiety, and gastrointestinal problems.
