| | | | Denise Mailloux Bowden, M.S., L.Ac. is a licensed acupuncturist and clinical herbalist with a Masters of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Her work stems from a deep desire to help people overcome physical as well as emotional challenges to improve their health and wellbeing. Denise assesses patients holistically by taking a detailed history, evaluating diet and lifestyle, and customizing each client’s care. She earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Colby College in Maine and, for many years afterwards, worked as a Research Associate at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) for the Department of Medicine. This psychological perspective and biomedical background has helped to shape and inform her work as a clinician.
During her Master’s program, Denise apprenticed under Beverly Burns, M.S., L.Ac., renowned acupuncturist and healer. She has also studied extensively with fertility specialist Dr. Lifang Liang and pregnancy and childbirth expert Raven Lang, M.S., L.Ac. Denise is also a member in good standing with CSOMA (California State Oriental Medical Association), the NorCal Fertility Group (Northern California chapter of acupuncturists specializing in fertility) as well as the Mama's Resource Network (MRN).

Linda Gruber, L.Ac. is a licensed acupuncturist, herbalist, and doula. She has a strong belief in the inherent wisdom of the body, trusting that it can heal itself when gently brought into balance. In addition to acupuncture and herbs, Linda uses Jin Shin Jyutsu – a hands on healing technique, to enhance her client’s health and inspire them on their health and healing journey. She treats a variety of conditions and primarily focuses on women’s health, including fertility, pregnancy and postpartum. Linda graduated from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in 1998 with a Masters of Science in Chinese Medicine. She also has a Master of Arts in Expressive Therapy from Lesley College. Linda is a member of the Norcal Fertility Group. Her office is located in Noe Valley in San Francisco.
