Birth and Postpartum Doula
| | Alexis Cohen, CHT, is a Birth/Postpartum Doula, a certified Hypnotherapist/Depth Hypnosis Practitioner and Hypnobirthing Educator. She holds art and meditation groups for pregnant and postnatal mamas as well. Alexis is currently practicing in San Francisco, working with family systems for over 10 years. She feels so grateful to work with women, babies and their families in this intimate way.
Alexis is able to support her clients during the pregnancy, labor, birth and postpartum period by providing practical information about their birth and postpartum options, while holding space for them to make the decisions that are right for themselves and their families. By addressing any fears or other blocks, the mother can be more fully present throughout the experience of pregnancy, childbirth and motherhood—establishing a deep connection with themselves, Spirit, their new baby and entire family.

Kathy Woo, MS, CHT is a Birth/Postpartum Doula, Depth Hypnosis Practitioner, Certified Hypnotherapist, and HypnoBirthing® Childbirth Educator. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and has been a counselor and case manager in a variety of mental health facilities. She likes to explore Buddhism, yoga, shamanism, pottery, sewing and energy medicine.
Kathy provides support to mothers and their family from conception to parenthood. She is passionate about assisting mothers in connecting to their intuition and trusting their instincts. By addressing any fears or barriers to being fully present, mothers can have a clearer sense of what she needs in the moment. Kathy's approach includes the mental/emotional aspects of birth as well as the physical. She focuses on supporting mothers to create the birth that's right for them, seeing that each birth is unique and special.
